Very Baby AIOs: ML vs L

We currently have four ML Very Baby AIOs for ds. They fit wonderfully on him...no leaks, etc! These are our favorite diapers. He's starting to outgrow some other diapers and I'd like to replace them with some more Very Baby AIOs but am unsure if I should buy more ML or larges this time. DS is 27+lbs and almost 22 months. The waist is still good for the ML and the rise is good for now.

Does anyone own both ML *and* L? Could you take a side by side shot of them and/or tell me how you feel about the difference in fit?
