what comes after size 6 diapers?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but we were thinking about how avi is almost into size 6 diapers we dont know what comes after. I know that pullups come in bigger sizes but do they hold poops in as well? Avi is ~35 lbs, not sure since he has not been to the dr lately but he is very tall for his age. We could try potty training because he is smart and very verbal but just wondering if that is the next step?

Wow, he's into size 6 already? My DS is ~30 lbs and in size 4s - I just checked the package and they go up to 37 lbs.

Never fear, pullups are just as good as diapers. They do even TOO good a job.. my kids were in them till 4 and Bitsy still would pee in them morning and night if I let her, and she's almost 7...Diaper linings are so good at keeping you dry you have no idea you are even wet. Good news for diaper companies, bad news for our pocketbooks and the environment, that's for sure :P
Back in cloth diaper days, most of us were trained by age 2 or so.

Yes avi is very big for his age. He has always looked older than he is and he is now wearing size 3T- almost 4T. He is very tall and sturdy, not chunky at all.

Potty training is sounding better and better every day, esp because the diapers are so much more expensive than they used to be- less in the box for the same price- time to do some shopping around.

FWIW My son who was 40lbs at 2 and not able to go at night w/out diapers used Good Nites when we weren't in cloth.

He is 46lbs and almost 3 now. He will still soak a size 6 with 1 pee. Good Nites really didn't seem that much better, maybe they will hold 2 pees for him. But Pull Ups are out for us, since they are for training they seem to hold way less.
