We are getting DS's 6-month photos taken in a few weeks, and for his last photo shoot I completely forgot about getting any diaper covers and I would really like to be prepared this time around...

So any suggestions for cute diaper covers?

TIA

How about a Zutano cover?

Or a wool cover. I think that wool would look great in a baby photo.

I just wrote a long answer about this that was lost, but in a nutshell, I'd suggest Starbunz (nice selection at http://www.diaperware.com/productpage/starbunz.htm )

If the waistband will show in the photo (as in a diaper only shot), I'd avoid anything with a Velco or Aplix closure since it looks bad next to a cute print. I'd go for side or front snapping or pull on.

Also, I'd recommend Motherease Airflow prints, Stacinator fleece or wool side snapping, or Bummis Cotton Print Pants (pull on, see www.cottonbabies.com). Or go to any WAHM who makes side snapping covers and order a custom one. (Angeldrydiapers.com is one I know and like. Her covers run big.)

I agree that a wook soaker would look cute, but I don't own any so can't direct you anywhere.

To add complication, you could also take any cute side snapping pocket and use it as a cover. You could also use any cute fitted diaper, but your DS might soak through it before the session is over and leave the photographer's blankets or props a little wet.
