I just got some preemie prefolds that I bought used from another mama. They are absolutly adorable, they are so small, it almost seems like they won't even fit a baby, but I figure we can always use them as doublers in our infant prefolds if the baby is too big to use the preemies.

Ok that was it nothing important just that I thought they were adorable and I have never seen such a teeny prefold before. :)

Yep, when I first got those, I thought there was NO WAY they were going to fit my baby. It turns out we used them for 3-4 weeks? Something like that. But yes, then we used them until Kaya was ~8 months as doublers for her infants and premiums, so we have definitely gotten our money's worth. I have postpartum pads this time around, but if I need to use the preemies as backup, I have them for that as well!

Aren't newborn diapers just the cutest thing? :)

they would not have ever fit my babies (9.5lbs at birth) but they are so precious! who would have thought that a flat white diaper would be cute? at least if we are weird, we are ALL weird! lol!

edited to remove my idiotic double negative... i really am losing it.

I agree, they are very cute.

I started CDing with DS when he was 2.5 weeks old and infant prefolds were kind of annoyingly bulky on him for a while. He wasn't super small...8lbs 4 oz at birth and a rapid gainer.

This time around I picked up a dozen preemies. Not sure how much use they'll get but they always can be used as burp cloths, milk catchers whiel nursing, and diaper doublers :)
