At the risk of jinxing myself, I wanted to announce that I think DS is daytime potty trained. He just turned two last month. We started on Labor Day weekend so that's just a little over 6 weeks. It took way longer than I thought it would but now that we're there, it so nice!
We followed his lead. He started peeing and then pooped on the big potty. So I got him underwear and ditched the diapers cold turkey. There were a few times along the way I got so frustrated but he never wanted to wear diapers when I offered so we kept at it.
I will not kid you, it was a lot of work for me. But I just wanted to share for anyone out there who wants to try but has been told it can't be done before 3. Not that there is anything wrong with waiting longer. But for some kids, it can be done earlier.
ETC 6 months to 6 weeks, lol! Gee it felt like 6 months though.
