Just received an email that the new version is now available:

Not even the company's website appears to be updated. New edition looks pretty similar, except they added a girl color (pink).

I'm so excited! I hope my local retailer has them soon. Last I heard (Monday), she was expecting them in 2-3 weeks. We are in desperate need of more pockets. I'm mostly excited about the new fabric.

I think it is pretty similar except that the outer fabric is PUL now.

My local retailer is getting them in on Wednesday and I hope to see them in person early next week. I can give a report if nobody reports before then. Since my one gripe about the old BGs was the outer fabric, I'm really looking forward to getting some of the new ones!

This is what I found online:
-bumGenius! diapers may now be washed in HOT if you desire.
-The one-size now features a new PUL outer. (fabric just like Fuzzi Bunz, Happy Heinys, and other AIO and pocket diapers)
-The recommended size range is now 8-35 pounds.
-Double-crossover tabs are standard now on all diapers.
-There is a second line of stitching at the top edge of all the new one-size diapers. The top edge has also been trimmed ever so slightly.
-In addition to offering a full selection of our own unique PUL colors, we will continue to make bumGenius One-Size in the original, dyeable fabric - but only in white (available on December 1st).

I picked up a 6-pack yesterday and tried one today. I'm very happy with the BG 2.0 and will make them my go-to diaper now.

My only gripe with them before was the outer fabric, so I am loving them now. :)

Easier to adjust than FBs and they fit DD better than the Medium FBs that she's starting to outgrow. I'm hoping these will get her through PTing and then I can use these when the next baby comes.

My favorite feature: you can roll up poopy ones and fasten the tabs just like a disposable diaper when you are out and about! No more reaching into your wetbag with fear of touching poop.

It's great to hear the review! If I'd ever use cloth, this would be the diaper, I think. I knew that FB's would never work with DS - he's far to wiggly during diaper changes to do snaps. And I like the one-size idea - make one investment, and never have to buy diapers again. Maybe Santa will leave some in Max's stocking.

ETA: What kind of insert are you using with them?

They come with Cotton Babies Microterry inserts, but we use Hemp Babies Little Weeds inside. DD used to be sensitve to having fleece and microterry next to her skin. I'm not sure if she still would be, but I got used to the hemp; I used to put the hemp right next to her skin, now I stuff it inside.

Easy peasy!
These are the inserts I use: http://www.wildflowerdiapers.com/catalog.php?item=682&catid=33&ret=catalog.php%3Fcategory%3D33
