DH always got underwear in his christmas stocking and wants to do the same with DS. I looked at Target and nothing came small enough - maybe out of stock. He's not PTed yet, but twice yesterday he told us he had to pee and did, so they may not be used straight away, but it'll be nice to have some on hand.

Thanks,
Nicci

Hanes undies run VERY small. Nathan is wearing 4t's in clothes and 6's in underwear. Once you wash the 2T-3T size you will see they shrink. We didnt use a whole bunch of the "training style" but rather went right with the little boy brief & boxer briefs.

Buy the smallest size at Target and wash them - they will shrink up a lot. I find that I have to buy big in underwear for DS1 (I buy him a size 6, when he usually wears a size 4 in shorts) because they do run small, except for Hanna undies!

The training underwear at JCPenney's (Wee Essentials line, sold in the baby department) runs a bit small, especially in the thighs. The 2T size just fits my 25%th percentile 2 year old. It is nice and soft too. The Gerber training underwear is considerably larger in both the rise and the thighs.

H&M is great for underwear and they have small sizes.

My friends little boy is 2 1/2 and very tiny (25 lbs. & 33 in.). He has the size 2T 3T Hanes boxer briefs and they fit great. They really run small.

Thanks everyone. I picked some up at Target...Hanes boxer briefs and Thomas briefs. If they're too big, I'll shrink them in the wash.

She got them at Wal Mart I think. They are so adorable. Boxer briefs are all that my son will wear, he hates briefs. Plus, I like the boxer brief. So cute.

I think that you will find that they fit great after washing. I hope so.
