Looking for a review of BumGenius Bamboo Wipes

SIL is due in March and is going to cd her little one (YEA!!!) So for her shower gift I thought I would get her some cding accessories. I was looking at the new bG 2.0 at cottonbabies and saw these bamboo wipes. The colors are so pretty and I have heard that bamboo is super soft plus very environmentally friendly. I was wondering if anyone has tried them and how well do they hold up. TIA for your help. Have a happy holiday season everone.

i just got some bamboo and while it is SOOOOOOOOOO yummy, i am not sure how well it would hold up in years of washing (as wipes.) but i know nothing about the bumgenius ones.

Hmm, I have the bamboo BumGenius fitteds, but no wipes. I like the dipes though. Sorry, can't comment on the wipes as I didn't realize they made them!

I haven't used the wipes, but I do have the fitted diapers, which are made of the same material. So far, they've only been used twice, though, and they're still super soft and absorbent. I imagine the wipes would be nice and hold up at least as nice as Sherpa. It does depend a little on the hardness of your water and whether you get detergent build-up and all that, but in any case, so far I'm quite pleased with the Bamboo fitted.

In any case, $9.95 for 8 wipes is a little on the upper end for wipes, although not unreasonable. I think it's about the same price you would pay for most good sherpa/velour wipes, depending on the size and the WAHM. But I haven't bought wipes in a long time (except the really cute teeny ones from Lizajane, which I have to highly recommend. :D
