Hi we are currently using huggies and having leaks. I am interrested in trying these 2 brands. I read the prevous posts on them but they are quite old post and as diapers change I was wondering what you current users think of these 2 brands.
Thanks

Love White Cloud diapers. They don't have any perfumey fragrance, and are similar in fit and absorbency to Huggies supremes. They're a little more plasticky feeling on the outside, but that's not a big deal to me. I also like that they just have a few John Lennon animals on the front, and not the obnoxious all over licensed characted crap like the Huggies Supremes do. Plus, even when not on sale, they are substantially cheaper than Huggies.

I think the fit of the Target diapers is very similar to the fit of Huggies. I don't like the "feel" of the Target diapers as well as I do Huggies or Pampers, but they seem to work just fine.

ITA, but leave it to Wal-Mart to mess up a good thing. I switched to Kirkland dipes a few months ago because we had some fit issues and was about to switch back to White Cloud. I went to pick up some more only to find that the shelves were mostly bare, but there were a few packages of "White Cloud Supreme" diapers in their place. I asked the associate stocking the shelves and she told me that the original White Cloud dipes were being discontinued and replaced with the new supremes. The kicker? Each box has *substantially* fewer diapers and the price has gone up. They only had size 3 on the shelf in the big boxes, but there were only 84 dipes for $15.xx as opposed to 104 for 14.74 in the old package. Old price was 0.14 per dipe and now they will be 0.18 per dipe, same as Kirkland.

I really, really loved White Cloud diapers, so I'm bummed. I am pretty sure that the Target dipes are manufactured by the same company, however, since they have the exact same text and images in the directions part of the box.

I believe Kimberly-Clark (maker of Huggies) also makes the Target brand. I was comparing the Target training pants against the Huggies Pull-ups earlier this week and noticed that the patent numbers were the same. I ended up getting the Target brand, but can't really comment on them as I sent the lot to daycare.

I really like the Target diapers but my main complaint is that there are no stretchy sides and I don't feel like I get a good fit on ds. No leaks, but I just *feel* like I don't get a good fit. I tend to stick with Pameprs myself. If you do try WC or Target, be careful about pulling the tabs too hard/tight. I've had repeated problems with ripping off a tab on the cheaper brands.
