How do you clean the potty bowl?

Obviously the contents get dumped in the toilet, but where do you put the potty bowl to clean it out? I don't want to put in under the faucet in the tub or sink since we are washing in there.

I've been rinsing it out in the sink, wiping it with a clorox cleaning wipe and then cleaning the sink.

Am I missing something?

After I dump the contents...as I'm flushing... I rinse the potty bowl with the clean water in the toliet. That's it.

If it's poopy - I do the same, except then I use a clorox wipe after.

Also, do you have a diaper sprayer? I often just spray the potty into the toilet until it's mostly clean, then spray it with my homemade disinfectant spray. If it needs some "scrubbing" because of little bits stuck (sorry if TMI), then I will spray and wipe with a cloth wipe that goes into the diaper bag. It seems to do well. Every once in a while I will wash with soap and warm water in the tub.

I dump contents in the toilet, use some TP to wipe it out first before rinsing if needed, then fill/rinse with water from sink and then dump that water in the toilet (so no 'contaminated' water goes in the sink). For poop I usually use a Clorox wipe as well.

We CD, and (like Eileen) have a mini-sprayer hooked up to the "big" toilet. I empty the little potty bowl into the toilet, and spray it out well with the sprayer. It is powerful enough that so far, it always gets everything out.

Periodically I wipe everything clean with a lysol wipe (or similar). Very occasionally I'll put the little potty into the bathtub and scrub it well with a gentle cleanser, then rinse in the bathtub.

Same method, but we use the Method wipes (eucalyptus essence).

Man, I'm so glad DD doesn't use the little seat anymore. It was a wonderful day when I finally convinced her to sit on the big potty.

You all just made my life easier. I am def. going to try some of these ideas. I am also going to look into a diaper sprayer.
