So we bought some diaper doublers at the supermarket for overnight use with DS #1. The first morning after putting Seth to bed, DH came in and immediately started complaining. "I know why those doublers are so cheap. They're lintier than H***! You might as well just put a bunch of cotton balls in his diaper!"
Though I hadn't noticed a problem when I used them, I could tell he was pretty upset and said, "That's fine, we can switch to those Depends inserts. Don't worry about it."
When it was time for Seth's nap, I took him up to the changing table and found some bits of cotton-ball-like material and a "wrapper." Now I realized DH's problem. He thought the doubler's dry-weave cover was a wrapper and removed the cotton from the cover! No wonder it was so linty! LOL!
