My Neat diaper pail refills are no longer being made anymore. I know it's had some mixed reviews, but that pail works fantistic for us for over 3 1/2 years! Does anyone use the Neat and have they found a secret source for the refills, or what have you switched to? We always took advantage of the TRU annual coupon on those refills, and bought a year's supply at one time, so I apologize if this is old news to anyone. We ran out and I just found out after looking online for them.

We love our Neat too!
I gather, tho have yet to try it myself as I still have one regular Neat refill left, that you can adapt the Diaper Genie 2 refill things to work. I think you need to keep one of your neat ones and cut it to hold up the smaller DG2 one to the right spot but that in essence they are exactly the same other than size.

Others may chime in as I read about it here. But hopefully it works as I only have a month or so left till I have to try it myself!

HTH!

I've found that diaper genie 2 refills fit just fine into Safety first without any adjustment. The Diaper Genie 2 refils are a little shorter, but the overall inner and outer diameters are exactly the same. I refill it just the same as if it were a safety first refill, and we don't find we have any problems with the fact that there is a 3/4" gap between the top of the refill and the blue ring on the safety first device that holds it in. I guess with the Diaper Genie 2 refill being shorter, it holds less length of bag, so we end up with a shorter time between refills -- a small price to pay for the odor elimination!

By the way, another refill that "should" work in this system is actually the one used with the "litter locker" cat litter disposal product (see http://www.amazon.com/Doskocil-LitterLocker-Plus-Refill-Cartridge/dp/B00063KNDU/ref=pd_bxgy_k_text_b) . I've seen these in stores and they look exactly the same as the Safety 1st (same height). Apparently, some genius realized cat litter stinks, too, and why not adapt the diaper disposal technology to work for cats. Apparently, it might cost a little more for the cat refills, but if you look at the Amazon reviews, one poster says you can use Safety 1st ones in the cat device - so vice versa should be true, as well.
