"Cocoa LaFleur" is here

The third time was a charm as at 1556 EDT, "Cocoa LaFleur" made her appearance into the world after a 12 hour and 21 minute labor. Mom did fantastic through the process. She had a 1 minute APGAR score of 9 followed by a five minute APGAR score of 9.

Mom and Dad are doing great and will have pictures posted on Cocoa's website soon!

Hey Flagger - I hope you didn't think our request for "stats" was instrusive. We just wanted to share in the joy, and everyone I've ever shared baby news with shares height/weight, not Apgars. I know a lot of people who don't even KNOW what their child's Apgars are, since they are really just figures for the staff to assess how much intervention might be necessary. Anyway, I just hope you aren't offended. We just wanted to know how much we should wince on behalf of Ms. Flagger (9 lbs? 10?;)). That's fine if you don't want to share, I'm just curious why you chose to share the Apgars.

Anyway, hope Ms. Flagger, Cocoa, and you for that matter, are resting well and on the road to recovery. Here's to years of laughter, tears and wonder ahead...
