Good morning BBB folks. I decided it was about time that I introduced myself to everyone. I'd been lurking for a few months before DD arrived and now have been a "regular" since she was born and I returned to work, even posting once in a while.
I'm a WOHM living in northern NJ and commuting to work in NYC being the HR dept at a non-profit community health center organization. DH also works F/T but we found a wonderful home-based daycare for DD near our home. In addition, DH and I are both volunteer EMT's and DH is also a volunteer firefighter.
Being a mom is the hardest and best thing that has happened to me. Sometimes the messages on this board help me to retain my sanity and remind me that I'm being a good mom even if I'm not June Cleaver or Donna Reed with the perfectly immaculate house and no piles of laundry.
I don't have too many close friends with babies, so this board has provided tons of useful information and advice for me.
Thank you to everyone who participates here and I look forward to being able to share whatever snippets of advice that I can provide from my own experiences.
