Like many others, I've been lurking around these boards for several months. I've recently begun posting and figured I should introduce myself. As you can see below, I'm expecting my first little one (a girl-or so they say) in January. My DH and I are very excited. We currently live in NC.
The BBB and these message boards have been a huge help to me! Granted, over the past year our church has had a massive baby boom, so I know lots of knew mom's, but sadly, most people just buy what they like, not necessarily what is best or will last. We actually have not bought anything ourselves yet-still waiting on showers-but I have already been convinced to give CDing and baby wearing a try and our choices of strollers, car seat, etc. have definitely been influenced by the BBB and these boards.
