My wife, Mary Vann, and I joyfully welcomed our son, Blanton Everett Roberson, into our lives at 10:42 pm, November 21, 2003. He weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces. I would strongly encourage all who are pregnant and have not yet found out the sex of your baby to avoid the temptation and not cave in to the pressure of instant gratification. Not knowing makes an incredible event even more special and exciting. We would like to thank everyone on the board who graciously helped us with their opinions and advice as we prepared for his arrival. I'm sure we will continue to seek you out in the years to come.

Congratulations to you and your wife!!! And I totally agree about not finding out the sex of the baby. Being surprised was an absolutely incredible experience. And even moreso because our prediction was wrong!! :o

Congrats and welcome! We, too, waited to find out the gender, despite my initial wishes. I will admit, however, that it was pretty darn neat to have that surprise on DS's birthday. So much so, if we have a #2, I think we'll be doing the same!
