Hi! I've been a lurker on and off since I was pregnant. I just recently began lurking again now that I been able to find some freetime. I have I've enjoyed reading all the advice and getting great info -and I love hearing about everyone's precious babies. I thought it was about time I became a bit more active on the forum, so I thought I'd start by introducing myself.
My name is Lisa. I live in Northern Virginia, about 30 miles west of DC. I am a teacher and my husband is a software analyst. We have been married for 2 1/2 years and have a beautiful 6 month old daughter named Kyleigh and a very playful 2 year old Maltese named Bailey. I was able to take maternity leave until DD was 3 1/2 months old, but then I had to return to work so that I can support my Gymboree addiction (as my DH says)! I still hate leaving her every morning, but I have the perfect babysitter - my mom!! So I guess if I have to leave, there is noone I'd trust more than her.
Thanks for making this such a great forum. It's nice to know that I have a place to go to ask ?s, vent, or to just reassure myself that I am not a terrible mother.
