Hi All,
Just wanted to post to tell of a new addition, our DS, Hunter was born last Friday, 3/12 at 3:32pm. He was 8"6 oz. and is doing great! My water broke on Thursday night, about 20 minutes after I felt my first real labor pain. He was born by C-section after 16 hours of labor (contractions down to 2 mins. apart for the last 2 hiurs) and still only 4 cm and baby not completely dropped. Dr decided on a C-section after his heartrate did some decellerations and didn't recover well. It ended up he was face up and caught on my pubic bone and couldn't drop further, so they said he may have never made it out on his own, but he is completely healthy. I'm doing well too!
Since this is my first at age 40, I am just so amazed at how much I can love such a little baby and I already can't imagine how life was w/o him! Some days I just look at him and cry tears of joy!
