After 24hrs of labor, baby Jasmine finally arrived on 3/18 8:17am. The whole experience was great. There was a brief moment when DD's heart rate dropped to 50s which was thought to be due to cord compression from my lying position. It lasted 3min which felt like forever -- I thought I was getting an emergency C-S for sure. I pushed for an hour. She popped out the next push after the episiotomy. I made exactly 38weeks on that day. Jazzy baby was only 5lb 7oz when she was born, down to 5lb when discharged. She's slowly gaining her wt back. We call her the Lean Mean Poop Machine which fits exactly what she is.
