What a fun forum you all have here! I am a bit of shoe addict for my daughter and I love reading about all of your experiences with different brands and fit. Soft sole shoes aren't so great for outside and Amelia needs something for the winter coming up. (Full disclosure here - I am a WAHM, I sew soft sole shoes - but I am here as a mom. I have read the no-commerical policy, and I'm not here to SPAM or self-promote.)

Anyway, I am the mommy to two wonderful children, Daniel and Amelia, and wife to my husband of 8 years. We live in Wisconsin. I seem to spend a fair amount of time online, what a different world it is to chat with others outside of my small city. No one here has even heard of Hanna Andersson, baby slings, or soft sole shoes like Robeez!

Welcome, Sarah!!
I look forward to getting to know you.

I know you said you don't want to self-promote, but I for one would love to see a sample of your work. I didn't know any WAHMs made shoes and I think that's really cool. If you change your mind and wouldn't mind sharing, it's not against the rules to put your company name in your siggie; you just can't put a link to your site. :)

Stay warm there in Wisconsin. I've known several wonderful people from out your way; it sounds lovely and I'd love to visit. We've got these Cheese Council ads that play out here saying California cows are happier, but I still love a good Wisconsin Cheddar every once in awhile. As my DD would say, "Moo." :)

Well, since you asked... ;)

Here are a couple pairs of shoes

We lived in Durham, North Carolina when we first married. That was wonderful - not too far from the beach and ocean, not too far from the mountains. But Wisconsin is closer to the grandparents and I certainly don't miss the traffic or high cost of housing.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!
