HI there. We have a Kangaroo Korner fleece pouch and love it and decided to get a Ergo for an airport trip. My DH helped me use it and boy was it great. Trouble is, I want to use it in the mall or other places and can not do it myself (or at least without a mirror). DS is 28 pounds and long and I can't seem to get him in it backpack style without coming close to dropping him. Can anyone give me any tips? I love it when I can actually have help and get him in it. I would also eventually like to start using it for dinner time cooking, but it is so much trouble for me to get him in when he is fussy. He is 15 months and really loves to be held ALL day!
Thanks,
Elaine

Have you looked at the video on the Ergo website?

I don't have an Ergo, but I'm looking to get one and I thought it was helpful. It looks like you have to reach around your back and find their foot and guide it through the straps. I can see where that could be difficult to get a feel for, especially if your DS doesn't have especially long legs or if you have shorter arms.

Good luck!
