View Full Version : Help! I need a carrier. Twins. Breastfeeding. Yikes!

I am expecting twin girls in March and have a 2yr old DS. I had a Bjorn I liked for my son until he hit 20 lbs around 6 months and a Hip Hammock. I also used SEVERAL back carriers I LOVED... but as for slings for newborns, I know nothing.

I would like something which is easy to put on/off and load/unload since I will probably switch the babies around frequently. Plus, I will probably use the sling in lieu of a triple stroller (one baby and my toddler in a double stroller while wearing one twin).

While I used the Bjorn quite a bit, I did find it to be a bit of a hassle to get my growing son loaded, particularly after about 15 lbs or so. Is it easier to put a baby into a sling?

It would be great to double up babies in a sling/slings someday, but for the time being, I am happy to figure out the logistics of wearing one before getting too advanced...

I would like something in which it is easy to breastfeed...

In March, the weather here (in Tulsa) is pretty mild, but over the summer it gets very, very hot and humid.

Any and all advice is appreciated!

Stephanie
