View Full Version : Can anyone post a good picture/construction description of a Kozy?

DD is going through a "no-nap" phase right now- I'm hoping she hasn't also caught the virus I got sick with yesterday! Anyhoo, she won't even sleep in her swing, so I tried my MnM pouch out of desperation and she fell asleep for over an hour! We are still getting used to getting in it though, and I'd like to try a Kozy carrier, but don't want to wait for one. I can sew well enough but can't see the basic contruction on the website because the pictures are so small. Normally I'd just try my own design, but I have concerns that I wouldn't make it strong enough... can anyone post a close up picture of the seams/construction or describe how it's made?? I'd really appreciate it! TIA!

Many sling making instructions are on this page:

The Kozy Carrier is an Asian Style Carrier.

Good Luck!

Wow thanks! I hadn't checked that in awhile! I'll have to try a couple of those- the new ones look very interesting and easy to make! I would also like to try a Moby-style wrap if anyone knows the dimensions... Thanks a bunch! :)

This is an awesome yahoo group for help with sewing slings and then showing off your creations! I don't even sew and I find it very interesting.
