Help in Tucson?

I got one of Rev Jan's ring slings, with custom fabric, before DS was born.

Well, he's been here for 4 weeks today, and I cannot get him into it in a cradle position! I'm not sure whether the problem is my naivete, or a size issue (DS is over 22" already, and I have a tiny (around) torso)! (I just tried, and scrunched is ok, but the labored breathing was not...)

Can anyone help -- either with suggestions here, or, better yet, if someone's in Tucson and can show me how to do this right, I would be infinitely grateful!!!!

Going to attempt the cuddle hold now...

I am in Tucson....

FWIW, DS hated the cradle hold. He only liked Tummy to Tummy, which we still use.
