I'm relatively new to this sling thing,...I have a couple of unpadded ring slings that I'm not too crazy about. But today I saw someone with a pouch looking carrier that looks like it was made of neoprene or some other stretchy material. It looked really comfortable and secure. I don't know if it was adjustable,...I'm thinking it probably wasn't. Sorry if this isn't enough info,...like I said, I'm new to this and really don't know my carriers. Is there such a thing as a neoprene sling?

This is the only neoprene carrier that I know of, but it doesn't look like a pouch like you describe. It's for use in the water - I have a neoprene wetsuit, and I can't imaging a regular baby sling or carrier made out of it. It doesn't breathe at all and it's really stretchy and stinky!

Could it have been made out of fleece? Cotton interlock (like a nice t-shirt)? Did it go over one shoulder or two?

Nope, it wasn't that one. I suppose it could have been made of fleece. I didn't get a close look but for some reason, both DH and I thought it was neoprene. It looked thick and cushy like neoprene. And it went over one shoulder. The strap that went over the shoulder was really wide too. Hmm, wonder what it was?

I'm far from an expert, but I'm knee-deep in research right now, so maybe you're talking about the Kangaroo Korner Adjustable Fleece Pouch? It's not cheap, but there are a TON of positive reviews for it. I'm planning on ordering one myself.
