Has anyone tried the Ride On Carrier?

I saw this advertised in Mothering Magazine and was wondering if anyone had tried it? We're looking for something fast and easy to use (as well as easy to pack) for when DS gets fussy in a store, etc, as he's getting a bit heavy to carry. Also, DH says he would wear this when out shopping. Anyone tried it? The web site is www.rideoncarriers.com Suggestions for other similar itmes would be appreciated, too. Thanks!

I haven't tried this one, but tried two other hip carriers - the Hip Hammock and the Walking Rock Farm hip baby. I hated both of them!! That strap dug horribly into my neck. Other moms here have had similar experiences, though tall people (long torsos) seem to have better luck than shorter to average people.
