Ergo & Hip Carry

I didn't think the Ergo could hip carry. Could someone comment? TIA.

The Ergo's made prior to the summer 2003 re-design were able to do a hip carry, but those manufactured since then can't. It's because the straps on the new one are fixed, whereas the straps on the old one had clips that you could undo and reposition for the hip carry. I have the older design, but have never actually tried the hip carry with it.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought. With the older version, you could do the front carry with the baby facing out which you can't do with the newer version.
