Has anyone heard of these? You put it around your baby when he is in a baby bjorn or other front carrier. I saw it on the Kids n Style website. If anyone has used this I would love to hear about it.

thx.

You can also just use a blanket or zip your coat over the Bjorn. The Bjorn has such a short lifespan that I can't see spending more money on something just for it, but that's just my experience...

Babystyle sells something called the Cozy Topper, which is similar, but much more affordable ($25). However, I don't know anyone with any experience with either one of these. I have heard some good reviews of the Kiddopatamus one - I know I'm not spelling that right. I did ask about these sorts of things in a post a while back - I think it was called "Keeping warm in the Bjorn?" or something like that.

We used the Kiddopotamus Great Fleece cover-up last winter over the Bjorn. My coat definitely wouldn't zip around DS in it (big boy) and blankets were a huge PITA when walking around outside. We LOVED the Kiddopotamus. You can also use it as a boot on your stroller (if you aren't compulsive about it matching perfectly) and as a car-seat cover-up if you want. We mainly used it with the Bjorn, and with the stroller a little bit. It was around $25 and we definitely got our money's worth. I think I bought mine from babybungalow.com, but I understand that they are widely available.

Thx I'm going to check it out. Can you use it with other front carriers like a Kozy? I would imagine so but just wondering, since I'll probably use the cozy once he can't fit in the bjorn.

Other than the Bjorn, I've only used a hip carrier, so I'm not positive. That said, I think it would work with a Kozy and other front carriers, based on what I have seen. You can use it with baby facing in or out. There is a little hood built in that rolls down when baby is facing out.
