We're still trying to get the hang of our pouch ... can a newborn be put to sleep and carried around in the KKAFP? If so, which hold?

Thanks!

Yes. Have you looked at this page?

When my son was a newborn, he would go in the pouch awake and easily fall asleep and stay in the pouch in the cradle carry. It was as if I was carrying him around in my arms, but I didn't have to use my arms. It was great!

Now he is (much) bigger and he fits best in the tummy to tummy or kangaroo (facing out) positions. He still falls asleep in the tummy to tummy position -- in fact this was a lifesaver on a recent flight and once he was asleep he stayed in the pouch until we landed.
