Is it possible to carry your baby in the front facing forward in the Ergo? My DD doesn't have good enough head control yet, but when the time comes I imagine she would like to look at other things than me!

I really thought I had seen in an old post someone describing how to do it, but I can't find it again. Thanks for any help!

Nope, its not, unfortunately. For a front facing out carry that doesn't include a Baby Bjorn (I never wore ours, DH liked it), you need something other than an Ergo. The Baby Trekker, www.babytrekker.com is sort of Bjorn-ish, but the seat is wider for the baby, and it has a waist belt. You can do a front facing out up to 40lbs. We used it on a hike, and my Dad carried my 25lb 8mo old DS on his back, facing out. Fory loved it! Its DH's new carrier, since DS is too big for the Bjorn. You can also do front facing out using wrap carriers, like the Moby wrap, or Girasol, Ellaroo, etc. Harder to put on than the Trekker, Bjorn, or Ergo, though.
