I bought a KK Cotton pouch off swap last spring and I'd like to use it w/dd after she arrives. I know with the bjorn the directions said to wait until the baby was 8+ lbs. When can I start using the pouch?

I used mine from the day we got home. In retrospect I wish I had brought the sling to the hospital because it would have made getting up and down after my c-section much much easier.

I used it right away with Claire and it's been a life saver! I wish I hadn't been so wary of slings when Colin was born!

if you've read Jen's birth stories on the MNM site, she started using her pouches within hours of birth!

As soon as you wipe her off, if you like. ;)
The Bjorn says to wait until 8 lbs because it has leg holes, & they could slip out. Not a problem with a pouch.

I used both my Cotton Zolo ring sling and my KKAFP when my son was one day old! I still use them daily and my son is now 14 months old!
