Do Zolowear slings ever go on sale?

Hello Gals-

I am thinking ahead for baby #2 and would like to try a different sling than I used before (OTSBH). Right now I am liking the zolowear based on the reviews I have seen, but the price is a little high - especially for the silk sling. Are there ever sales on the zolowear website or have we ever had a co-op for them?

If I decided that I don't want to spend that much money, then are there any other slings that are similar in style and quality for a little less money?

Darien has had sales in the past (usually in January if I remember correctly), so make sure you're on her email list.

Otherwise, Zolos come up on Swap (both BBB swap and babywearing swap) from time to time.

The Zolo is a great sling, and she has done a 25% off coupon sale in the past. But not for a while now. I really like Rev. Jan's sling too - almost as much as I like my Zolo, and they are about half the price! www.sleepingbaby.net

I remember a couple of sales in the past, but nothing for a long while. The Zolo slings are pricey, but once you get one (IMO) you fall in love with it and never wonder whether it was worth the money. Or you could look for one used, as a PP suggested.

If you want something similar then how about one by Reverand Jan? I had the chance to sample my friends sling and her shoulder design is awesome. I almost liked it more than my Zolo. She doesn't have any silk instock but you can send in your own fabric. There are a few people on these boards that have done that. Ebay is a good place to look for fabric.
