Kelty backpack carrier

Has anybody taken a kelty backpack carrier onto a plane as a carry on? Does it fit in an overhead compartmentor did you have to gate check it. Thanks

I havent taken it on a plane but in relation to a carryon suitcase the Kelty should fit in the overhead. It is a little longer but not as wide and about the same depth or less if you fold it down a bit.
