Anyone have this one? It is different than the new edition (holds up to 18 months)
I need something for carrying baby on hip- if this is a bad idea, anyone have a suggestion?? My son (4.5 months) is incredibly strong and I use the bjorn, but would like a non-front option as he gets in the way on my front when I am doing things around the house. He throws himself backwards when I am holding him, and would love the extra support.

I think that you'd be much happier with something like the Zolo (www.zolowear.com) or KKAFP (www.kangarookorner.com) for a hip carry. Or even the new mei hip carrier (www.meihipcarrier.com). Premaxx isn't known for making good baby wearing products, and I can't imagine that this one is much different. I can say that the KKAFP is incredibly comfy, even with a 31lb toddler, so you'd get tons of use out of something like this!
