what to use hip carrier sling ??Help!

My son is 11mths old and 26lbs.i need to travel overseas and need something to carry him in !
what should i use a hip carrier sling? and where to get it from??
I am short only 5 2 tall if that helps plz do ansere

Check out www.kangarookorner.com - their adjustable pouches in fleece and cotton are quite nice. Or www.hotslings.com. These all make GREAT hip carriers for a 1 year old!

I agree with PP. I have a hotsling (hotslings.com) that I love for the hip carry. I also have a mei hip carrier (meihipcarrier.com) that also distributes some of the weight onto my waist/hips. I typically use my hotsling more, but if I know I'll have a longer trip/hike/walk, I use the Mei Hip since it's more comfortable for longer walks. Depends on what you'll use your sling for. :)
