I am looking for a structured carrier. I've heard about the Ergo and Sutemi, which people seem to like.

What about the babytrekker? any feedback on that? I saw an ad for it in Mothering.

I recently saw this:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0006M1AD8/ref=pd_sbs_ba_3/103-6824751-0019850?v=glance&s=baby

This certainly looks like a cool product, but from what I've read here, and at babywearer.com, it seems that the carriers made by "mass producers" (ie bjorn, snuggli) just aren't as comfortable as the ones from smaller companies.

Are there any other ones to consider? I really prefer structured carriers.

I've been hearing more and more about this one, but I haven't tried it personally, so no guarantees. Supposed to be Ergo-like....

I actually have the babytrekker and love it. The babytrekker is great if you have a little one who loves to be forward facing. It was also a carrier that my husband would wear.

I actually just got an Ergo and I thought I would like it more than I do. It's okay, but it pulls a little on my shoulders. Don't get me wrong. It's very comfy, but I just thought it would be the answer to all my problems... LOL.

Anyway, let us know what you choose and how you like it.

"let me know what you choose."

Ha! A week and a half later....I'm still miserable using the Bjorn...haven't chosen anything yet. Considering a Mei Tai instead. Not sure, not sure......

I tried an Ergo and it just didn't fit me well, the waist band is very wide and I am short-waisted and big-hipped so it just dug into my ribs.

I got a mei tai and love it. It didn't take long to figure out, I have put James on my back in the parking lot a few times, and regularly on my front. It is easily the most comfortable carrier I have tried, as long as he's snug up next to me it doesn't ever hurt.
