DH goes on a lot of short and long walks with DS and doggie. DS is outgrowing beloved BabyBjorn. What can my DH use from now on? We were thinking of a back carrier, but can DS see and look around? We have a VERY curious and inquisitive child! Any suggestions?
Also, since we are at it, do you have suggestions for a back carrier for me? Something relatively easy to use (for when I am alone and I am not at home, eg in the car). I was erading posts on suggestions on how to wear baby....
Again, DS is 9 months, 10% percentile.
Thanks!!!

If your son likes to see and look around, then he might prefer to be up higher on your back. This may be more uncomfortable as more weight is up on your shoulders and upper body, but he doesn't seem to heavy yet.

You can do high back carries with a MT (Kozy, Sachi, Freehand, Kolamo, etc.) and wraps. On http://www.kozycarrier.com there are instructions on how to do a high back carry with a MT.

With a wrap, you can do a rucksack carry. You can check out http://www.mamatoto.org for instructions and more carries.

The Ergo is also a good back carrier, but your son will be lower on your back so he probably won't be able to see over your shoulder. I like the Ergo when I'm out because the straps don't drag on the ground like the MTs or wraps do when I'm putting them on.

Thanks for your suggestions! It is great to post and get help!
I haven't bought anything yet...but I think we'll go for the Ergo.
Thanks again
