I want to carry my 6-12 month old (almost 15 pounds) on my hip. Can anyone give me rec on a type of sling? Tube, ring, etc?

Saw the Oopa Baby slings and they are beautiful, but far too pricey for me. Are the essentially just a ring sling?

Thanks!

Try a Hotsling - www.hotslings.com - fairly inexpensive and very easy to use.

Thanks! I was considering a Hotsling. Any pros and cons for padded versus non-padded?

You could a pouch or a ring sling.

A nice budget option for a ring sling, which has an incredibly comfortable shoulder design is a Rev. Jan sling.

www.sleepingbaby.net.

Hotslings are nice non-adjustable pouches.

Definitely go with the padded - barely takes up any extra room in a dipe bag and it keeps those little legs more comfy in a hip carry! :)
