I just ordered a hotsling and now I want a Peanut Shell. I'll be using this with my 7 month old DD who likes to be hip carried. Wondering which is better...100% cotton or cotton with stretch....can you tell a difference? The print I wanted Lily Mama (cotton stretch) is sold out in smaller sizes and my second choice is the Red Yoko (100% cotton). Wondering if I should just look for another cotton stretch print.
Thanks again for all your help!!

You will get different answers from different people. I would go for the cotton stretch myself.

another vote for cotton stretch. Too bad the Lily Mama is now sold out. I have it and love it. You may email Alicia (goo-ga owner) and see when she expects more of that fabric. She's always very helpful.

I just got my Penaut Shell cotton stretch and LOVE it. I also have a 100% cotton sling and prefer my stretch sling way more. The Peanut Shell stretch is a very lightweight fabric- you will love it. (I think they are all the same- I got the black stretch). The Red Yoko looks beautiful!

Thanks! Think I will go with the stretch cotton. Also, what kind of fabric is poplin? Peanut shell has a cute poplin stretch fabric...

Hi -
Can you post a picture of you wearing it with your DD in it? I'm curious as to how they look!
thanks.

Here is the best picture I found of the Peanut Shell pouch that I have, it's the black lightweight stretch.

It looks like your DD is very comfy in it. Does the pouch have padded leg rails? I couldn't tell from the picture...Thanks!
