At $75, I'm a little gun shy. Plus, since my ds is 18 mo and loves to run, I don't carry much anymore. But this is SO tempting!

The wraps are absolutely stunning in person. Jen does a beautiful dying and the colors are gorgeous. I do think $75 is pricey though you have to factor in the fact that hemp jersey by the yard isn't that cheap plus the time it takes to dye.

It's a little trickier to tie on for back carries than a woven wrap because of the slight stretch. You really have to pull to make sure it's tight enough. Once you get it on it's very comfortable.

It's also very long. I could have gotten by with a shorter length of fabric. Most carries I did had the wrap trailing on the ground and me tripping over the ends! I made up for it by just wrapping it around my waist a few times before tying. One of the suggestions I made to Jen was to offer the wrap in different lengths the way woven wraps are.

The wrap is significantly cooler than a woven wrap which is very nice. When I do back carry I am still swaddled in a ton of fabric so it still gets kind of hot. The coolest wraps out there are made of gauze and I like those best for my Hawaii climate.

It's really difficult to get DS into a wrap these days. When he sees me coming in tends to run in the opposite direction! Most times it's a lot easier to just toss him in a pouch.

LMK if you have any more questions :)

Thanks. I'll keep this in mind for baby #2 when the time comes. I have a feeling that I'll never get my ds in one now.

I'll have to check her site for tester reviews with infants.

Angie,

Do you know how the MNM compares to a Hugabub or a Moby? I loved slinging Madeline in my MNM pouch and my KKAFP but I was thinking that I would try a HAB or a moby with my next one. I would love to spend my money with Jen instead.

TIA!
A

Alexis,

From reading Angie's review and other's on Jen's site, it seems that the main difference is that the Moby is stretchy while the MNM wrap is not.

Angie, do the numbers that are listed tell the length? I want one of these (I think) because they sound like a good mix between the Moby (unfinished) and the HAB. But I'm only 5'2" and don't want to swim in fabric. I'm holding out for a solid.
Question #2- what is your fav guaze wrap? I only use a pouch right now because it's all I have, but I'm looking for another carrier to mix it up a bit.

Trish,

Jen some listed some solid color and shorter wraps on Hyena Cart.
