SO WHICH ONE IS BEST?

I have a Bjorn but with new baby due 9/05, I want something more sling-like to really "wear" the baby close all day.

Get thee a HOTSLING! Honestly, I have 3 and I love, love, love them. I got my first when DS was about 2 weeks old. At first, I thought I was doing something wrong since DS looked completely smushed and uncomfortable, but he loved it. It wasn't difficult to get the hang of, and I was wearing him right away.

We received a Bjorn as a shower gift. DH is the only one that uses it. I used it for about 10 minutes and my back and shoulders were KILLING me. My hotslings are VERY comfortable.

I LOVED my KKAFP when DD was newborn to 4-5 months (and still love it but it's too hot for summer). I have 5 differnt slings and this has been my favorite!

I LOVE my hotsling! We have 7 week old twins, and I wouldn't want to be without it. It is so comfy, and both babies love it. I use it all the time. Good luck!

A hotsling is a GREAT first sling (and a wonderful 15th sling too!). Its super-easy to use and super-comfy for both mom and baby, and inexpensive enough that you can also get one for dad too in case the two of you are different sizes!
