Baby Bjorn Active vs. Original

I've read that with the Active version you can discretely BF. Is that true? If so, what is different that you can not BF while baby is in the original version?

I have an active, but I have never breastfed in it. I imagine that you could do it though. I don't know that it would be easy - I think it would be easier in a sling or wrap style carrier. I have a hotsling... I will say that I think the active Bjorn is extremely comfy and I don't feel burdened with my DS's weight - he is almost 19 lbs. I just carried him yesterday for a long walk on the beach (maybe 90 mins), and was great. Hope this helps...

We used the active for both dds although I never BF with dd in it. I never felt it was logistically possible even though I have heard it is possible to do in either the original or active. We loved our bb active but have sadly decided to list it on craigslist because dd2 doesn't like being in it anymore. I definitely recommend it over the active carrier.
