The wrap. I find a woven wrap to be hands down the most comfortable. I also have a Zolo ring sling which is great for quick ups and downs, but not for any serious carry. Mei Tais are ok too, but not as comfy as the wraps.

I suspect you will hear the same couple of answers: Mei Tai, wrap. Most folks find that two shoulder carriers are better for heavier kids since they distribute the weight more evenly.

I'm 5'1" - I LOVE my Mei Tais :D. I found that they were really easy for me to learn. Even my DH has tried one on a few times.

I'm really interested in learning wraps (I'm just a bit intimidated still) - I've heard nothing but yummy things. So that is definitely another option. It really depends on what you want.

I just love my ergo www.ergobabycarrier.com It's perfect and my 18 month old feels so light in it.
