babywearing when pregnant?

I used a baby bjorn early on with DC#1, but stopped when it got too uncomfortable. Otherwise, I've never really been a babywearer. I'm looking into wearing DC#2, but I'm wondering if while pregnant I could use a mai tei or a other ABC type carrier for DC#1 who is about 20-somethingish (less than 25 most likely) pounds? Anyone have experience wearing a baby while also pregnant?

I personally haven't, but there are lots of moms on thebabywearer.com who do. I think they use mostly Mei Tais and wraps (good weight distribution; bottom straps of MTs tied beneath the belly, wraps can be tied on the shoulders only).

I did this once or twice, but not often. I used a mei tai in a high back carry (tied above the belly).
