Ergo/Patapum waist height?

Sorry, kind of a weird question, but does anyone know if the height of the waist "belt" is different between these two? I had an Ergo and while I liked it, I felt that the height of the pad around my waist was pretty high. If the Patapum is not as high, I think I'd like that better. Can anyone help? Thanks so much!

I'm not sure if you had the NG Ergo or the classic Ergo before. I don't have the NG Ergo so I can't compare. The classic Ergo and the baby Patapum are identical in size.

Thanks! I had the older Ergo. I'm going to try the Patapum since it's about the same price as the Mei Hip I'm returning. Thanks again for your help!
