I was just looking for opinions on these two products. I'm expecting baby #2 in a few weeks and trying to see if either of these products might make my life easier :) I currently have a maya wrap, which I LIKE. But must admit that I get over whelmed by the huge D ring and all the fabric. I would like to try something a little more basic but wasn't sure if the over the head types (peanut shell or native baby carrier) would work for a short waisted person with a small infant.

As for the nurse N glow, I really enjoyed co sleeping with DD but it was hard in the beginning. My arm and shoulder ached from supporting her all night long. And DH was losing sleep because of the night light that I had to use to see what was going on. The Nurse N glow SEEMS like the perfect solution to both our problems but I haven't been able to find any reviews of the product. Anyway, sorry this is so long winded, I would really appreciate any opinions or suggestions!!

thank you!!

We have a microfleece PS that I LOVED when DD was young. We got it when she was 7 weeks and I wish I had gotten it earlier. It is so snuggly and DD loved it. Now that she is bigger and stronger, she tends to back dive out of it, so we switched to a Mei Tai recently. But, for the newborn-4/5 month period, the Peanut Shell was great.

I don't have a short torso, so I can't speak to that, but a small infant will be just fine in the PS! I would e-mail Alicia (goo-ga.com) if you are unsure if it would work for you. She was so helpful to me! Good luck, and sorry I have never heard of the Nurse n Glow :(

hi,

sounds like you've already decided on the PS, but i'll still try and answer anyway, just in case. i am very short waisted, and i _love_ my peanut shells. i also have a small baby and he has been in them from day 4 on. still carry him in the fleece one in a hip carry now. like all carriers, there is a little bit of a learning curve for where it is most comfortable, learning to load/unload the baby, etc, but hang in thru the first week, and i think you'll love it.
