I'm new to this, but I'm wondering what you all do with the tail on a ring sling when you are in the house.

I bought a zolowear ring sling and I like the pocket for going on walks but I'm thinking that the tail might get in the way around the house like when I want to cook or do dishes, etc. Are there any techniques for keeping it from getting in the way or do I need another carrier for the house?

I'll have a newborn in the house in a couple weeks and I'd like to be ready to go.

You can just tuck the tail in the sling with your baby, tuck it in between your body and the sling fabric, or wrap it around the rings.

I would always just do a loose twist of the tail fabric and tuck it either between the baby and my body, or put it under my arm and tuck it in between the sling and my back. Usually between the baby and my body was best unless she was asleep and I didn't want to wake her up by poking/tucking the fabric between us.
