Need a backpack type carrier

My DH wants a different backpack type carrier. My babyhawk mei tai drives him crazy! He cannot stand all the straps and that it takes a while to put on (compared to a pouch).

Is a Ergo or Patapam (sp?) easy to put on?

Also the less bulk the better.

Any suggestions would be great.

DS is 25 lbs at 7.5 months.

The Ergo is quite easy to put on. I've never seen the patapum but I believe they are similar. The Patapum is cheaper!

Personally, I found the Ergo too bulky after using my Kozy but the straps on the Kozy were driving me crazy when I was out and about, especially in the woods, so I bought a myPouch. Very streamlined, similar to a mei tai but with rings so it can be prethreaded. DH, who never uses the Kozy, thinks it is great and easy to use.

We just bought an NG Ergo. It is very easy to put on and quite comfy!!!
