I'm taking a couple plane trips later this year with my 2 DD's (just the 3 of us) & was planning to carry my little one in her Peanut Shell. I have a LE Backpack that I love to use for flights cause it's so big. However I don't think there's ANY way to make the two of them work together; so...are there any carriers that can work with a backpack on?? Or should I rethink the backpack & use a different diaper bag?

Have you ever used a mei tai? If you use a front carry, then do a backpack, you can offset the weight and seem balanced! Only problem is having to take it off through security.

I haven't....I'll have to check them out. Thanks for the recommendation.

I use a ring sling w/ my backpack diaper bag, though the RS does have a narrower shoulder (it's a Zolo), so maybe you could fold over the PS or something (if it's large enough) so that you can still put the backpack on.
Otherwise, MT will definitely work.

I think you could carry your little one in the front and still wear a backpack. But I agree something like a Mei Tai or soft structured carrier would also work very well.
