Mine just came w/ a strap of sorts where you have to thread it each and every time (and i had to keep tightening it while in stores)....a few times of that and I replaced it w/ an actual buckle that I picked up for $2.50 in Rag Shop. Here's what I replaced it with (so you get an idea!):

I find that it's much easier to use now that I've done this.

I did almost exactly the same thing except I bought a strap at BRU (meant for using in shopping carts) for about $4. I much prefer the click-in buckle to rethreading that thing every time!
